Do I need to pre-register or just show up to class?
Pre-registration and prepayment are preferred and highly recommended. This is important so we know if you are signing up as a lead or as a follow to avoid having too many of one or the other. It also allows us time to call in favors from experienced friends so you will have a dance partner should our numbers become uneven. Since we teach in a progressive class style (everyone in your group moves together to the next level), we do not accept drop-ins after the first day. Lucky for you, we open classes for new students every other month!
Do you teach Bachata, LA style Salsa, or other dances?
We are happy to say that, YES, we do offer Bachata and Salsa on occasion! Those classes are not offered as often as our Rueda de Casino classes so when you see it on our website or Facebook page, be sure to not miss the opportunity! We are currently offering Bachata, Cha Cha Chá, and Salsa at the studio and hoping to add more dances soon. Feel free to call, email, or look at our signup page for current class schedules.
What kind of music do you dance to?
The music that we absolutely LOVE is called Timba! it is essentially salsa but less romantic and a lot more funky. You will get to know DJ Warapo who DJ's Most cuban social events in LA and SD. He's amazing and always keeps things fresh and familiar at the same time. DJ WaltDigz out of San Francisco has a Timba Radio Show on Twitch.tv on Tuesdays where you can hear all the newest music. Do you host social events?
We will definitely have social events in the future as our Rueda de Casino community grows here in Temecula. Right now, you will find us at various events around southern California. If we are not already at a large event in San Diego or Los Angeles, we will be wherever there is "salsa" music playing around Temecula and surrounding areas. Is there an age limit?
We don't have an age limit per say, but due to the nature of this dance we recommend that the student be at least 13 years old and accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.
